Vegan Pizza

This veggie pizza is perfect replacement for regular pizza, gluten and wheat free. This recipe is a healthy option and can be adjusted to your diet, all ingredients can be replaced for wholly vegan or raw ingredients! Snack away on this healthy pizza and share this recipe with your friends and family.

You will need a blender and a dehydrator for this recipe.

 

Ingredients:

Dough:

½ cup peas

1 bunch of spinach

¼ cup of almond or soy milk

½ tbsp. Chia seeds + ½ tbsp. water

1½ cup of oatmeal

½ cup of almonds

1 clove of garlic

½ tbsp. olive oil

½ tbsp. apple vinegar

½ tsp dried basil

1 tsp salt

½ tsp dried oregano

 

Topping:

½ cup of tomato paste or sauce

1 cup of cherry tomatoes

Bunch of leafy greens (or sprouts)

Handful of basil leaves

Optional: Cheese of choice or nutritional yeast flakes

Steps:

1.Take almonds and oats and blend them until fine, put mixed dry ingredients in bowl.

2.Boil the spinach 1 minute before taking it out. Add spinach, peas, almond or soy milk, olive oil, chia seeds, garlic, basil & oregano powder, salt and apple vinegar in the blender and blend well.

3.Add the spinach mixture and to the dry ingredients in the bowl and mix them well.

4.Take baking paper and line the dehydrator tray, place the mixture on the tray and spread evenly until the dough is about 1 cm in thickness. Dry for 5 hours at 60 C, or place it in the oven at the lowest setting for 2-3 hours. For a raw version, place crust in the dehydrator at 39 C and dehydrator for 8-10 hours.

5.Take the finished pizza crust and evenly spread tomato paste or sauce on the crust, place other toppings on the pizza. When using cheese you can opt to place the pizza in the oven for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese has melted. Enjoy!
