Dried mandarin peel tea

 In Dehydrator, Recipes

We often eat delicious mandarin oranges but throw away the peels – save them(!) and use them to make aromatic and fruity teas. The dried peels can be used alone as tea or added to other tea blends. When you’re feeling down with a cold, this tea is excellent in combination with ginger and honey!

What you’ll need for this recipe:

400 g mandarin orange peels

  1. Soak the mandarin orange peels in vinegar water and clean them thoroughly
  2. Drain the peels in a sieve
  3. Evenly distribute them in the dehydrator and dry them at 70 °C for 7 hours.
  4. Store the dried peels in an air tight zipper bag or glass jar and enjoy them in your teas
